Full-Day White Water Rafting – Zambezi River Rapids Adventure
Description
Get ready for one of the most exhilarating adventures in Africa — a Full-Day White Water Rafting trip on the Zambezi River, starting just below Victoria Falls. This is not for the faint-hearted — you’ll take on Grade IV and V rapids with names like “The Overland Truck Eater”, “The Devil’s Toilet Bowl”, and “Oblivion.”
Your day begins with a safety briefing and hike down into the Batoka Gorge. With expert guides and all safety equipment provided, you’ll paddle through 21 world-class rapids spread across a 25-kilometer stretch of the river.
In between rapids, you’ll float through calm pools surrounded by dramatic basalt cliffs, and if you’re lucky, spot wildlife like vervet monkeys, hornbills, or even crocodiles sunbathing on the rocks. After the rafting, enjoy a cold drink and a hot meal before hiking out of the gorge — exhausted but elated.
