General Information:
Zimbabwe, officially the Republic of Zimbabwe, is a landlocked country in Southern Africa known for its dramatic landscapes, wildlife-rich national parks, and cultural heritage — including the ancient Great Zimbabwe ruins.

Location:
Bordered by South Africa (south), Botswana (southwest), Zambia (north), and Mozambique (east). Harare is the capital and largest city.

Official Languages:
There are 16 official languages. The most widely spoken are English, Shona, and Ndebele.

Currency:
Although the Zimbabwe dollar exists legally, most transactions are done in United States Dollars (USD) and South African Rand (ZAR).

Area:
Approximately 390,757 km².

Visa Information:

• Many nationalities require a visa on arrival or pre-arrival visa for tourism.
• Zimbabwe uses an eVisa system with options like single, double or multiple entry. A KAZA Univisa allows entry between Zambia and Zimbabwe and some cross-border travel.
• Passport must be valid for at least 6 months and have blank pages for entry stamps.
